AFGE Local 2157 Members, The Local is currently in need of at least 3 volunteers to participate in committees of investigations (COIs). All members are appointed on a volunteer-basis. The members must be members in good standing. The process is considered to be entirely "internal union business" and cannot be done during duty hours. Some COIs go very quickly, and some take additional effort.
Please review the attached document COMMITTEE OF INVESTIGATION GUIDELINES AND PROCEDURES MANUAL for additional information. Please contact us through the "Contact Us" menu item at the top of the screen if you are interested. You may contact any officer of this Local; however for maintaining the integrity of the process, the use of the "Contact Us" menu item is important.
If you have already volunteered, your names are already of record.
Thank you for all that you do, and always in Solidarity! Amanda Schroeder, Local President
